THE CRISIS CONTINUES!

The semiconductor crisis has been affecting the most diverse production lines in virtually the entire world, which has worsened since the beginning of the pandemic. Several companies needed to change their products, or even paralyze their production lines, due to the lack of these components.
But the main question for companies that need semiconductors to continue their activities is: how long will this crisis last?

According to the CEO of Intel, the crisis in semiconductors should last until 2024, due to the lack of equipment and tools necessary for the manufacture of components.
Currently, most of the production of these chips is concentrated in Asia, and the solution to circumvent the problem of shortage of components in the market would be the creation of factories in America and Europe.

The automobile and gaming industries are the most affected by the lack of semiconductors. These industries have already had their production lines paralyzed, and this ends up increasing the value of their products, since the offer ends up being smaller.
Semiconductor chips are essential for industries as they can be conductors or insulators of electricity.

In addition, some component factories in the United States depend on imports of neon, a gas used in the manufacture of electronic items, which comes from Ukraine, and also palladium, which is a metal used in semiconductors and comes from Russia. Therefore, the war between Ukraine and Russia, affects production lines even more.

This last factor could be further aggravated by Ukraine's impossibility to maintain exports, or by possible Russian retaliation due to economic sanctions imposed by the United States, European Union and NATO.
